What an interesting concept.  When I saw the title of this book I knew I just had to buy it.  It did not disappoint.  My only problem really with this book was Peter reached the conclusion that the reason that Socrates was questioning all the religions of his time was because he was waiting for Jesus to come.  Obviously a very Christian view.  Now maybe that’s true.  We don’t know and we cannot know.  So I find it a bit audacious and kind of arrogant for him to make that claim.  Regardless of that, what he does do well is show the logical questions that one should be asking about Christianity.  Peter’s does an excellent job of mimicking the language and style of Socrates.  So this could also be used as a lesson in the Socratic method of rationalization.

As this book as two things that I feel are very poorly understood in the country, namely religion and logic, I feel it would behoove everyone to read it.
